What Is Meat?

     Meat comes from an animal. It can be cooked by many methods, including grilling, baking, roasting, broiling, sauteing, stir-frying, stewing, boiling, steaming, pan-frying, and smoking. Although some meats are cured before being cooked, there are also several ways to preserve meat after it’s been cooked. A piece of meat can be cut into smaller pieces. It can be ground using a meat grinder, a blender, or other equipment. Some types of meat can be frozen without cooking them first, then heated up later. Meat can be dried out and stored away until needed again.

1. Braises

     Braising is low heat and slow cooking in liquid. It’s the most effective method for breaking down fat and infusing the meat with flavors. This process allows the flavor of the meat to be concentrated while keeping the meat moist.
