  3. I really love the simplicity and convenience of smoothies. There are so many varieties that it’s endless. I like how this plan offers a grocery list! This is so important to make the shopping part a lot easier. As far as the Cons that you listed though for the smoothie diet plan, I don’t personally feel those are negative. So many people love the convenience of online access, even more so nowadays. I love that it can be purchased and downloaded online and I would not purchase this any other way.

  4. I enjoy a good smoothie once in a while, especially when I am on the run and have no time for a blown-out breakfast. 

    You are right about junk food consumption though. And yes the past generations had more of a diner experience than fast foods. Many original diners have closed down. 

    Today, toddlers can spot a McDonald´s right away, even without being able to read the sign necessarily!

    The Smoothie diet sounds interesting but it isn´t clear if the smoothies should replace all the meals or just 1 or 2 meals.

    The smoothie offers also sound interesting, especially the Peanutbutter Cookie Dough Cacoa crunch. This diet seems to be big on taste.

  5. I have to admit that I love smoothies and often have one for lunch.

    It’s probably no coincidence that I weigh the same at 78 as I did as an 18 year old athlete and, while I can’t credit that totally to a smoothie diet, I’m sure it’s helped.

    In fact, I couldn’t really say I follow a smoothie diet. I keep frozen mangoes, bananas, strawberries and blueberries in the freezer and make up a smoothie with them (plus yogurt and honey) whenever I feel like one. Which, as I said, often substitutes for lunch.

    Your post, however, opened my mind to how much more can be done with smoothies as part of an overall health and weight loss plan. I’d never thought of including oats, for example.
